Again this year as the club takes part in the world-wide remembrance of fellow cyclists who have been killed in collisions, the Downers Grove Police will lead the procession.
May 20th, Wednesday, 7:15 PM
Arrive before 7:15 meeting on the sidewalk on Mochel Drive in front of the Lemon Tree
At 7:15 personal stories of loss will be shared.
At 7:30 the police escort will lead riders to Main Street, south to Maple Ave., and
west to Carpenter, north to Grove and back to Fishel Park.
The evening will conclude at Emmett’s.
The club has submitted a request for an event permit anticipating 50+ riders.
Last year, by way of comparison, over 250 cyclists rode in Bloomington. Let’s have
a strong turn out. Bring a friend….let’s top 50.

Founders Day Family Bike Ride

- Registration starts at 10AM
- Ride starts at 10:30 AM
- Southwest corner of Fishel Park
- 8 mile easy pace
Children on two wheelers and tots in Burleys are welcome! We will ride through Maple Grove and Gilbert Park and then across the tracks looping through northwest Downers past historical sites.

We will have our annual meeting on January 26th, 2014 from 2-4pm at Emmett’s in downtown Downers Grove. Fun, games, prizes and election of new board members. Come and see all those familiar faces you haven’t ridden with since last Fall!
