Pedal Heads are a community based team headquarted in Downers Grove and Spokes Bike Store is partnering with us this year for the first time. The Pedal Heads will be riding in the MS Tour de Farms again in 2013. The Multiple Sclerosis Society’s Tour de Farms is an annual fundraising ride that takes place in northern Illinois in DeKalb. This year’s team will be captained by Vicky Tate. Our team trains together beginning in April and we have awesome commeraderie. We are open to anyone who wants to be a part of our wild and crazy bunch. We ride to help find a cure for multiple sclerosis.
People living with MS overcome challenges everyday: to walk, to have energy to go to the store, to have the will power not to give up. That is why it is so important to us that we support the mission of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society by fundraising to support research, local programs and give hope to the 20,000 families in Illinois touched by MS.
To be a member of our team all you need to do is: BELIEVE. BELIEVE in a world free of MS and help us make it come true. This is why we ride.
